MARINA DRUKMAN

Art Direction + Graphic Design + UX & UI

I’m a Ukrainian-born graphic designer and art director. I graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and began my career at Spot Design. I then moved on to Picador, and later took on a senior designer position at the iconic Life magazine, and then an art director position at Elle Decor. I then became a creative director of Melville House. Currently I am a contract art director at Amazon. I do a lot of freelance work for clients such as Time Inc., Condé Nast, FSG, Knopf Doubleday, Little Brown, Tor.com, Picador, St. Martin’s Press, Bloomsbury Publishing, Simon & Schuster, W. W. Norton, Catapult, Counterpoint, Deep Vellum, Erewhon Books, Scribe, ESPN, Abbeville Press, Topic.com, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Generation Human Rights, and many others.

My work has been recognized by many major design publications, such as Art Directors Club, SPD, Graphis, AIGA 50/50, PRINT, New York Book Show. It’s regularly featured on design blogs, such as Casual Optimist, Bookslut, Spine Magazine, Flavorwire, and others. I’d love to hear from you about your projects, and how I can help to realize them.
